FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
With $1.8 million in seed funding, Toronto startup Triggerfox reinvents the mobile address book for professionals.
TORONTO, April 2, 2014 – Triggerfox announces the launch of its new iPhone app, designed to help professionals build better business relationships, as well as a $1.8 million seed investment round led by a group of Toronto and Boston based angel investors, including Dharmesh Shah, Co-founder of Hubspot and Wayne Chang of Twitter.
Triggerfox organizes contacts from a user’s social media, phone, calendar and email into one unified address book. The app also provides relevant updates on a user’s most important relationships and makes it easy to take instant follow-up actions – like sending someone a real handwritten thank you card.
Founded by Frank Falcone, former CRM Product lead for Microsoft and Program Director at the Rotman Executive Centre for CRM Excellence, Triggerfox has undergone an in-depth period of R&D to understand the behaviors and actions of high performing professionals who excel at building strong business relationships.
“The challenge today is our contacts are scattered across many digital locations and devices, which makes it difficult to keep track of your important business relationships,”said Frank Falcone, founder of Triggerfox. “Building and maintaining relationships is not easy – that’s why we created Triggerfox. We wanted to help busy professionals keep in touch and top-of-mind with customers, prospects and colleagues.”
Relationship expert and best-selling author Keith Ferrazzi, explains, “Triggerfox combines the art and science of building better business relationships by making it easy to share acts of generosity with the people who matter most to you. We’ve seen that professionals who focus on sharing their time, knowledge, network and generosity maintain stronger business relationships.”
